About Us

I’m Dr. Amanda Placeres, a naturopathic physician dedicated to empowering patients to take charge of their health through education and personalized care.

 

While I have a particular passion for supporting women in areas like PCOS, fertility, and hormonal balance, I also see patients of varying ages and genders with a wide range of health concerns.

 

My goal is to address the root causes of illness and help each patient achieve optimal health and wellness. In my practice, I prioritize diet and lifestyle as the foundation of wellness. For many patients, this approach alone can create profound change, but when additional support is needed, I thoughtfully incorporate herbal therapies and supplements.

 

My ultimate goal is to help patients build a strong foundation for health while reducing dependency on outside interventions over time. I take pride in truly listening to my patients and understanding their unique needs and goals.

 

By integrating naturopathic and conventional medicine, I ensure therapies are safe, effective, and synergistic. I enjoy collaborating with other physicians to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care for my patients. 

 

I don’t believe in guessing when it comes to health. I dive deep into understanding the lifestyle, genetic, and environmental factors contributing to a patient’s condition. Together, we work to address these and other factors and improve health outcomes.

 

My mission is to empower my patients to overcome their challenges and focus on their potential—not their diagnosis.

 

Outside of the clinic, I cherish spending time with my husband and sons. I enjoy yoga, running, exploring the outdoors, and occasionally reliving my childhood gymnastics days. You might even find me tumbling in a gymnastics gym every now and then!
